A Patient-Focused Approach
Dr. Asaad Farooqi believes great dental care starts with making patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their treatment. Originally from Los Angeles, his interest in science and healthcare led him to shadow physicians and dentists while still in high school. Dentistry soon felt like the right fit, giving him the opportunity to work in healthcare while also getting to know his patients and build lasting relationships. He went on to complete his dental education at Temple University’s renowned Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Farooqi is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS).
While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Farooqi has a particular interest in oral surgery and implant dentistry. He finds it especially rewarding to restore a patient’s dental health and function while helping them feel good about their smile again. For those who feel nervous about visiting the dentist, Dr. Farooqi is also certified in oral sedation, giving patients with dental anxiety another option for feeling more relaxed and comfortable during treatment.

Dr. Farooqi’s approach is centered on trust and communication. Fluent in English and Urdu, he takes time to listen, answer questions, and explain treatment options in a way that’s easy to understand. Patients appreciate his thoughtful approach to care, which helps them feel comfortable and never rushed or overwhelmed.

When he’s not caring for patients, you’ll likely find him spending time with his family and two children, exercising, playing sports, reading, writing, traveling, or exploring a museum. Having traveled throughout Europe and Asia, he enjoys experiencing new places and cultures. He also values being part of the Sacramento community and looks for opportunities to give back through dentistry.
